A wrist-mounted gym grip designed to reduce grip strength involvement, allowing the user to focus on the target muscle.
It features a curved metal hook that attaches around bars, with a 180° rotating mechanism allowing it to be used for both pulling and pushing exercises.
The company shoudl be put on the wrist part as that’s what I see my logo should be. This will just be a prototype for now as I’ve never so I’ll only need one. The metal needs to be strong due to lots of pressure being put on it. The photo was made by AI but from my ideas so it’s not exactly what it should look like.
Size: should be around 7 inches for the wrist part of the build. It should include Velcro so that it can be adjusted from like 6.5-8 inches roughly. The metal part should start curing inwards about 4 inches up and should curve for about 2 inches allowing a bar to fit.
What it needs to do: the metal should withstand the pressure of a lot of weight up to 140kg. I understand that this would work when pulling in the gym fine but pushing a bit harder. This is why I woudl like the prototype first then I can improve it.
Material: stuff, competition grade polyester - elastic, just string good elastic material with Velcro and a solid steel for the metal part. It should have a pivotal middle so the steel can rotate 180 degrees which should also be made from steel. The hook should have a compact 180° locking pivot. A small, discreet push button or lift latch releases the lock, allowing the hook to rotate to the opposite position. Once rotated, releasing the button/latch allows the lock to automatically engage and securely lock the hook in place.
