Comparing bids and choosing a Maker

How to weigh up price, profile and fit before you choose.

1 min read

When bids come in, you do not have to pick on price alone. Here is how to compare them well.

  1. Read each bid note

Makers explain how they would approach your project. A clear note that shows they understand what you need is a good sign.

  2. Look at the Maker's profile

Open the Maker's profile to see their portfolio, past work and reviews from other Customers.

  3. Ask questions in chat

Message any Maker with questions before you decide. Good communication now usually means a smoother project.

  4. Choose your Maker

When you are ready, select the bid you want. This takes you to payment. The spec you agreed is shown so you can check it before you pay.
