How to place a bid

Put in a clear price and note that wins the Customer over.

1 min read

A good bid is a fair price plus a note that shows you understand the project. Here is how to put one in.

  1. Review the brief

Make sure you understand exactly what the Customer wants. Message them with any questions first if you need to.

  2. Work out your price

Include your materials, time and postage, since the price a Customer pays includes UK delivery. The minimum bid is 10 pounds.

  3. Write a short spec

Set out what you will make and the key details. This becomes the agreed specification the project is judged against, so be clear and realistic.

  4. Submit your bid

Send it. The Customer can compare it with others, ask you questions, and choose you.
