Your account: Customer and Maker modes
One account, two modes. How switching between them works.

You have one Need It Made account. It can act in two modes: as a Customer (posting projects and buying) and as a Maker (bidding for work and making). You switch between them whenever you like.
Most people start as a Customer. If you make things and want to take on work, you can switch on Maker mode and set up a Maker profile. Your messages, notifications and dashboard all follow the mode you are currently in, so you always see the right view for what you are doing.
