What is Need It Made?

Need It Made is a UK marketplace for getting physical things made. If you need something built, printed, machined, sewn, cast or crafted, you post what you need and Makers around the UK bid to make it for you.

It works a little like a marketplace for freelance work, but for real, physical products rather than digital services. Customers describe a project, compare the bids that come in, choose a Maker and pay through the site. Your payment is held until your item is delivered, so both sides are protected.

Everyone uses a single account. You can post projects as a Customer and, if you make things yourself, switch on Maker mode to bid for work too.
