Staying safe and what is not allowed

The simplest way to stay protected is to keep everything on Need It Made: agree the work in the project chat, and pay through the site. Payment protection only applies to projects paid for on the platform.

Some items cannot be made or sold through Need It Made, including anything illegal, weapons, and items that infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights. You will see a reminder of prohibited items when you post a project. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask us before you post.
